GATHER

We are called to community and gathering together because it provides much more than entertainment. Gathering together demonstrates and illustrates unity. People surrounding each other with love and encouragement all while building relationships, friendships, and accountability together.

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”

GROW

We are called to grow and deepen our relationship with Jesus as well as help those around us in the same manner. Through study, prayer, and demonstration, we are able to continually grow closer to God and understand His plan, will, and purpose for our lives. Growth can occur both corporately and individually.

“Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into Him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.”

Ephesians 4:15-16 // ESV

GO

We are called to go and take the gospel of Jesus Christ to every street corner and “to the ends of the earth.” We are called to share God’s love and the gospel to everyone through testimony, proclamation, and love. Our desire is to see the kingdom of God come here, in Poplar Bluff, as it is in heaven.

“For ‘everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in Him of whom they have never heard? And How are they to hear without someone preaching? So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”
